JLS is TWELVE!

Funny that this newly 12 year old looks like he is just waking up, as thats my bed and he was in it asking for breakfast in bed for an hour before this picture.  I was already ahead of him.  It was a Krispy Kreme morning for him and he was thrilled.

That night, he had a cookie cake at his request.  I tried to encourage a normal cake and ice cream and he said that my cookie cakes are his favorite.  There's never been an easier cake, but I certainly root for diversity.  Pretty sure this is his 5th year in a row of cookie cakes.....

And, his big gift (with demo pics to come) was a Lacrosse Bounce Back.  Now he can sit in our back yard and practice LAX.  He already has a goal, so this little cutie has angled each piece of equipment to make plays like he's receiving and pass and throwing in the goal.  Over and over again.  His OCD serves him well.

Happy 12th birthday my little cutie.  It's hard to imagine this little pouter of a child I thought I could never raise has turned into the sweetest and most thoughtful little boy.  So proud of him.

LAX Championship

I am still pumping life into this little blog.  Life has, what seems to be normal now, been a bit crazy. We have renovated, moved and still settling.  I closed Write Away bc of all thats on my plate and tried to settle into our home.

Appropriately after the previous post is a post that WHS's team won the LAX championship this past weekend!

They worked so hard and this sweet kid scored his first goal in the championship game.  He smiles when he runs on a regular basis, can you imagine how he glowed after he scored that goal?  He's the best!

The whole team was excited, as those little guys know how to play some LAX!
